Step Stool and Pouting Chair or Naughty Chair
The Shakers used step stools similar to this, with its tall handle, to reach shelves and high drawers. The handle on the back allows easy movement without bending over and helps steady you while reaching into kitchen cabinets. When not in use it can display a favorite plant or be hung from one of our peg racks. The top step is 12" high, 14-3/4" wide and 7-1/2" deep. The handle is 33" high. It also makes a fantastic pouting chair or naughty chair for misbehaving children and grandchildren. |
